Former Tennessee Titans undrafted free-agent signing and defensive lineman Jayden Peevy has found a new home. The Cleveland Browns announced on Tuesday that they have signed Peevy to a futures deal.
After signing with the Titans in 2022 as a UDFA, Peevy spent almost the entire season on the practice squad but appeared in just one game, playing 27 snaps on defense.
He stuck in Tennessee through the 2023 offseason and garnered some hype after winning one of the team’s offseason awards and posting a strong showing in training camp.
However, Peevy came crashing back down to earth once the season started.
He was a healthy scratch in Week 1, played four snaps in Week 2, and then was waived and brought back on the practice squad. Peevy lasted just a few weeks there before being let go.
Following his stint in Tennessee, Peevy landed on the practice squad of the Carolina Panthers, where he spent the rest of the season. He didn’t play a single snap for Carolina, though.
