Ex-supply teacher charged with upskirting children in schools

Abusali Rahman, a former supply teacher from Salford, has been charged with multiple child sex offences, including upskirting and voyeurism.
The 36-year-old was arrested in June 2025 after a parent reported an image of their child in school uniform being circulated online, prompting an upskirting investigation.
Thirteen girls aged between 13 and 16 have been identified as alleged victims across seven high schools in Bury, Bolton, and Salford, with efforts ongoing to identify four more.
Rahman faces 13 counts of voyeurism, 13 counts of making indecent images of children, and one count of distributing indecent images of children.
He has been remanded in custody after appearing at Wigan Magistrates’ Court in April 2026 and is scheduled to appear at Bolton Crown Court in May 2026.
