Richard Keys has married his daughter's friend Lucie Rose – seven years on from his ex-wife of 34 years reportedly discovering their affair while she battled cancer.
His actress daughter Jemma, previously described Lucie as a "friend" in a previous interview, although Richard has since issued a statement denying this.
The 66-year-old ex Sky Sports presenter was pictured exchanging vows with Lucie Rose, who is 32 years his junior. A guest at the wedding shared a photo of Richard and Lucie at the end of the aisle.
In the image, beIN Sports football anchor Richard is wearing a grey suit and dark grey tie while lawyer Lucie, who was believed to have been friends with Richard's daughter Jemma, wore a white wedding gown with a large skirt and long veil.
The pair tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony in front of a sun-drenched body of water with boats seen sailing across, with the location understood to be Devon.
Richard is yet to comment on social media himself about his nuptials.
The ex Sky Sports presenter's daughter Jemma was not seen in any photos posted online of the nuptials and it is not known if she attended.
Jemma and her father fell out after the alleged affair was exposed, which plunged the ex-Hollyoaks actress into the depths of her battle with alcoholism.
Jemma sent abusive texts to her former friend Lucie during an 'alcoholic blackout' which saw her arrested and charged with harassment. However, the CPS later dropped the case.
It comes seven years after Richard's ex-wife of 34 years filed for divorce on the ground of adultery after discovering he was reportedly having an affair with Lucie.
Richard and Lucie are believed to have been introduced by a mutual acquaintance on the expat social circuit in Qatar, where the presenter worked after his Sky Sports sacking.
In 2016 it was reported that Julia, with whom he shares daughter Jemma, filed for divorce and returned to the UK after moving to Qatar with her then-husband.
Julia was also battling thyroid cancer at the time of the split.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time: "This is the most appalling behaviour. He knew that Julia was very ill but carried on anyway. It has knocked Julia for six and it has had an adverse effect on her health. She is absolutely devastated."
As the reports came out, Richard tweeted: "I expected a mixed bag of reaction – thanks for the support. There are many inaccuracies in the reports today – but I expected that also."
However, in 2019, Richard – who shares Jemma and Josh with ex-wife Julia – denied leaving his wife while she was fighting cancer.
He told The Athletic: "I'll mention the unmentionable for you. Did I leave my wife fighting cancer? No.
"I don't know what happened. I don't know why our marriage ended the way it did, but my wife was fighting cancer for seven years before I left her and she had been in remission for seven years.
"She and I went to London every day of her fight, prior to a ground-breaking operation that saw her in a period of recovery."
Richard claimed Julia "had been remission for seven years" when their marriage dissolved.
He also added: "If people believe that I walked away with my wife fighting cancer with a friend of my daughter's. I can't change that now.
"Tell a lie twice and it becomes the truth. Tell it on social media and it haunts you forever. I didn't fall in love with a friend of my daughter's."
Keys was fired from his £500,000-a-year job on Sky Sports, fronting Premiere League coverage, in 2011 after he made derogatory remarks about referee Sian Massey-Ellis.
In April 2018, Julia discussed her husband's affair in her book The MANScript.
She penned: "Richard's affair didn't just devastate my world, but the world of our children Jemma and Josh too.
"It is only now, two years on, that he has admitted he did have an affair with Lucie, as well as acknowledging his deceit and the damage it has caused."
