Former Juventus star Simone Pepe has explained how Paul Pogba's disastrous spell at Manchester United has enabled his return to Juventus.
Pogba endured a torrid six years at Old Trafford following his move back to the club from Juventus. Having hoped to win trophies at United on his return, Pogba instead became the poster boy for United's rapid downfall since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement.
Despite his exit from the Theatre of Dreams having already been confirmed, Pogba has remained a focal point for fans' anger after his Amazon Prime series, 'The Pogmentary', saw the 29-year-old take aim at the club. In the five-part documentary, the Frenchman accused United of not caring about him as well as criticising them for their £300,000-per-week contract offer.

According to Pepe, this whole debacle has been beneficial for Juve as they aim to bring the midfielder back to Italy. He explained to Corriere dello Sport : "When a player leaves Juve, as soon as he gets the chance to return, he always takes advantage of it.
"After the problems encountered in Manchester, returning home could help him find himself."
