The Atlanta Falcons dismissed head coach Arthur Smith just hours after the team’s 48-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 18. While Smith’s firing was expected following Atlanta’s third straight 7-10 season, it sounds like he won’t be out of work for very long.
Smith first made a name for himself as the offensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans before taking over as head coach of the Falcons in 2021. According to a report from Dianna Russini of The Athletic, seven teams have reached out to Smith about offensive coordinator jobs.
7 teams have shown interest in Smith
Former Falcons head coach Arthur Smith has received serious interest from more than 7 teams about joining their offensive staff as the offensive coordinator, per sources.

Had a feeling he'd get options. As bad as it went in ATL I still feel like Smith could be a good OC somewhere else https://t.co/Vux1cQGmDa

Can’t wait for the Giants to give Matt Breida 75% of the workload next season https://t.co/hAMx8DQjEM pic.twitter.com/4VWyvYvM5M

hear me out….he's probably better suited as a OC than HC and that's ok! now maybe he'll have time to refine those crazy ass plays he's called the past 3 seasons https://t.co/797phZexHG

You all know how I feel about this but… I did look into his time as Titans OC. It was the two best statistical offenses the Titans had under Vrabel
Those offenses force fed Henry and funneled passing attack to their 2 best pass catchers. Imagine that concept for the Falcons?!? https://t.co/Yqr8m3LOck

Brian Flores had to go all the way down to LB coach after he was fired from Miami 🤔 https://t.co/9TSSHhSyEb

I’m going to assume the Eagles will be one of those teams.
I understand Arthur Smith disappointed as a head coach but his smash-mouth style of play would likely work well in Philadelphia. https://t.co/SSD5O3gXU1
