Former Dundee United star Paul Watson has been linked with a move to Hamilton Accies.
The New Douglas Park club are said to have enquired about the 31-year-old central defender's availability, but face competition from Championship rivals Ayr United and Queen of the South, according to the Daily Record.
Watson started his career at Ipswich Town and enjoyed spells at Livingston, Raith Rovers and Falkirk, before helping Dundee United win the Scottish Championship in season 2018-20.
He was last with Dunfermline Athletic, but left at the turn of the year.
Watson had been training with Premiership club Dundee, but is believed to be assessing his options.
