Her meek, codependent best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried) must uncover the truth behind the horror that’s unfolding. When will Jennifer’s Body 2 be released?
While no release date has been confirmed at the time of writing, industry website Production Weekly has stated that filming will begin in Vancouver in October 2026.
Who will be cast in Jennifer’s Body 2?
We have confirmation that Karyn Kusama and Diablo Cody will be back on board as director and writer respectively, while horror outlet Dread Central has confirmed Megan Fox is set to reprise her titular role as Jennifer Check, with Amanda Seyfried also expected to return as Needy. Disney (the owner of 20th Century Studios) will be producing the sequel, although no official distribution plans have been revealed.
Is there a trailer for Jennifer’s Body 2?
Given preproduction is currently underway, with filming set to take place in October this year, we’re yet to see the release of any official trailers. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed Megan Fox has been dropping references to the OG classic on her Instagram, including a recent caption, “I go both ways”, a nod to an iconic quote from the 2009 film.
