Jake Paul lashed out at Conor McGregor in a lengthy rant after the UFC star labelled him a "donkey" and refused to say his name.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has been trying to secure a fight against former two-weight UFC champion McGregor ever since ditching his internet fame for a career in the ring. 'The Problem Child' is scheduled to face McGregor's former opponent Nate Diaz on August 5 and he hopes a win against the UFC legend can entice McGregor into fighting him.
McGregor backed Diaz to beat Paul during a recent interview, predicting the brash content creator will be a bit "windy" in the fight. Paul caught on to McGregor's comments and gave a scathing response during an episode of his brother's Impaulsive podcast, warning 'Notorious' that he will do what he couldn't by knocking Diaz out in their boxing match.

"I think Conor McGregor is funny as f***," Paul said. "When I watch him talk s*** about me and he's like 'Yeah the lad is a bit windy, he's a f****ng donkey' I'm like 'Yeah bro', but guess what Conor? I'll beat the f****ng f*** out of you. You can't box as good as me and I'm going to do to Nate what you couldn't, and that's knock him the f*** out.
"You're going to be sitting there with your new beer company that's failing, drinking it and realising that you p***ed your life away at the end of the bottle. You're going to say, 'Damn, I really thought no-one was gonna do what I did in this sport. I thought no-one was gonna be a bigger name and I was going to be the biggest forever', but you can't have both lives."
"You can't have the fun party life and be the greatest fighter in the world, you chose the wrong path," Paul added. "That money fight will always be there and when I knock Nate Diaz the f*** out then you realise I'm the biggest fight for you, call me and I'll answer because I'm my own boss. I make my own decisions, I'm not controlled by Dana White. I don't have a dad, so I can make the fight happen but if Dana lets you make the fight happen then we can run it.
"I don’t think being an alcoholic is inspiring. I respect him but I’m going to fuck him up. This is the entertainment business so we are going to be entertaining or are we going to sit here and be like ‘Oh I respect him’. It's one of the biggest fights in combat sports that can be made right now and especially after I do what I do against Nate Diaz."
