Everton 'willing to sell' Dominic Calvert-Lewin amid 'interest' from Arsenal and West Ham

Everton will reportedly sell Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer with Arsenal and West Ham rumoured to be interested in signing the Toffees striker. The 25-year-old has endured an injury-ridden campaign thus far, scoring just three goals in 11 appearances.

That is a far cry from the sensational form he exhibited last season in which he scored 21 times across all competitions for Everton. Arsenal will be in the market for a new striker once the transfer window re-opens after failing to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following his January move to Barcelona.

Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are also in the last six months of their respective deals, meaning both strikers could leave the club on free transfers in the summer. However, according to The Sun, the north London club are keen to strengthen their squad and are interested in signing Calvert-Lewin, Alexander Isak and Wolves star Ruben Neves.

The Gunners are having a fine season and are currently in pole position to finish fourth and secure a return to the Champions League for the first time since 2017, with owner Stan Kroenke reportedly eager to keep the club’s upward trajectory going by backing manager Mikel Arteta in the transfer market this summer.

West Ham, who are also in desperate need of a striker, were linked with a move for Calvert-Lewin in January. However, it's believed the east Londoners baulked at his reported £60 million transfer fee.

The Toffees may now be prepared accept a lower offer in order to facilitate a sale to give manager Frank Lampard the required funds to rebuild a squad that has woefully underachieved this season. His wages are not thought to be an issue for Arsenal or the Hammers.

Meanwhile, Nketiah could join Gunners legend Patrick Vieira at Crystal Palace this summer. The 22-year-old reportedly wanted to secure a move to Germany but a lack of first team opportunities this season appears to have scuppered a move and Palace can offer him a lucrative deal.
