Everton look set to be busy this summer in the transfer window if Financial Fair Play rules allow.
They may still have to sell to buy first but they will surely be linked to a number of bigger names this summer. However, they’ve been talked about in terms of goalkeeper back up or one for the future in Ireland No 1 Gavin Bazunu.
While the future of some of their current squad is also a big talking point heading into the summer. Donny van de Beek is on loan from Manchester United but has struggled for game time with the Toffees, too.
Elsewhere, midfielder Fabian Delph is out of contract this summer so may be heading for the Goodison Park exit door..

Van de Beek blow
Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has told Erik ten Hag to give Van de Beek another crack at Old Trafford. The Dutch midfielder was a key figure in the Ajax side under Ten Hag before he signed for United in 2020 only to struggle to make an impact with the Red Devils. Van de Beek is currently on loan at Goodison Park and was thought to be open to a permanent switch. However, Stam has hinted in an interview with the club website that Ten Hag might give Van de Beek a chance to reignite his career at United.
Interest in Irish keeper
Everton would be interested in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, according to the Irish Independent. The Republic of Ireland No.1 is a rising star at just 20 and the Toffees have monitored his progress on loan at Portsmouth in League One this season. He would be back up to current Toffees keeper Jordan Pickford but it remains to be seen if City will sell the 20-year-old.

Delph contract
Fabian Delph impressed again for the Toffees in their 0-0 draw with Watford on Wednesday night. His time at Goodison Park has been plagued by injuries but his late-season form has sparked talk of a new contract with his deal set to expire in the summer. Lampard said: “He knows how I feel about him. It’s a decision between firstly him, then me and the club.”
