Leeds United are reportedly leading Everton in the race to sign Coventry City striker Viktor Gyokeres ahead of the summer transfer window.
Both Leeds and Everton are embroiled in a relegation battle down at the foot of the Premier League and survival will only further their chances in signing the forward.
Gyokeres has 18 goals in the Championship this season - only Chuba Akpom of Middlesbrough, with 26, has more - and was linked with a move to Goodison Park during the January transfer window as the club's board attempted to find some firepower for new manager Sean Dyche.

They were unable to do that and the Blues finished the month as the only club in the Premier League without a new signing. However, they have continued to be tipped to make a move for Gyokeres during the summer.
But TuttoJuve report that Leeds, and not Everton, are now favourites to sign the 24-year-old Sweden international.
The report also states that the Whites want to make midfielder Weston McKennie's move from Juventus permanent if they beat the drop.
