The funding that the holding company behind Everton’s new stadium secured last month was for a sum around £40m, according to a new report.
On May 19 it emerged that Everton Stadium Development Holding Company Limited (ESDHC) incurred two charges, recorded on the publicly accessible Companies House website portal, a development that relates to funding being sourced from a lender.
The charges on that occasion related specifically to the stadium’s holding company, ESDHC, with an agreement with an agent, Ormskirk-based Blythe Capital, detailed. Blythe Capital, founded by Everton fan Andrew Bell, who last year stepped down from running the successful AJ Bell firm he founded, was detailed as the agent.
