Everton know that a successful summer in the transfer window is needed more than ever.
Speculation continues to grow with news emerging that Frank Lampard could head back to his old club to secure two promising midfielders on either loan or a long-term deal. Talks with Tottenham over Harry Winks have allegedly slowed down and reports today say Conor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour could arrive as alternatives.
With Spurs also believed to be trying to sign Richarlison from the Toffees, a deal involving Lucas Moura making the move from north London to Merseyside could allow Everton to secure a ready-made replacement as well as bring in money which can be used to strengthen other areas of the team.

Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher
Where?
What?
Frank Lampard is said to be interested in two Chelsea midfielders.
The Everton boss could use his connections at his old club to lure Billy Gilmour and Conor Gallagher to Goodison Park for at least next season. Both spent the entirety of the 2021/22 campaign out on loan and the west London outfit could sanction another short-term move or allow either to leave on a permanent deal, with the Toffees reportedly open to both.
Who?
Lucas Moura
Where?
What?
With Tottenham still trying to sign Richarlison, Lucas Moura's name has popped up in a potential swap deal.
Spurs' Brazilian winger is deemed surplus to requirements and could be sent to Goodison Park with his international team-mate going the other way. The Toffees are keen to keep hold of Richarlison but with the former Watford player thought to be wanting a change of scenery, bringing in cash plus a player the quality of Moura could be a shrewd piece of business.
