An evening bus route has been terminated until further notice after "mindless" acts of vandalism and anti-social behaviour.
Arriva North West took to social media to share the news on Wednesday, which resulted in mixed reactions. Describing it as a "difficult decision", Arriva said the 10B at East Prescot Road will not continue into Huyton from 8pm for the foreseeable future.
The last journey from Liverpool to run though to Huyton will be at 7.16pm. This is due to recent acts of "mindless vandalism and anti-social behaviour", Arriva North West said.

A spokesman added: "The safety of our employees and members of the public is our priority and CCTV has been passed to Merseyside Police to identify the individuals involved and we will press for the heaviest penalties possible."
On social media frustrated residents said people's lives are being "put at risk" and described the news as "terrible". One person added it was "so sad" as the route was also readily available for those needing access to the hospital, while another user said they were "not surprised" as the damages caused by "these youths is awful".
This is not the first time Arriva has had to pull a bus route from its service due to vandalism and anti-social behaviour. Earlier this month, Merseyside Police confirmed they received multiple reports from Arriva of damage being caused to buses, particularly on the 10B bus route between Queens Square and Huyton.
