Striker transfer hits stumbling block
Nottingham Forest transfer target Emmanuel Dennis' future remains "up in the air" as clubs circle the Watford star.
The £25m-valued front man was one of the Hornet's stand-out players in their Premier League relegation campaign last season. Since the club's return to the Championship, the 24-year-old has been subject of interest from a several clubs alongside Forest, including West Ham, Southampton and Everton.
The Express reports that those clubs have held discussions with Dennis' agent Drew Uyi over a potential deal. However, the club's valuation of the player has been deemed high, given the Nigeria international was signed for just £3m from Club Brugge last summer.

Joe Worrall sends Marinakis transfer message
Joe Worrall has hailed "fantastic" Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis and the transfer business done by the club this summer.
Forest are gearing up for their Premier League return after securing promotion through the play-off final against Huddersfield Town. Marinakis has since shown his backing in the transfer market, with around £70m spent on new signings so far.
To date, the Reds have welcomed 11 senior signings and a 12th is pending, with the expected arrival of VfB Stuttgard midfielder Orel Mangala. Captain Worrall has spoken about the high-profile signing of former Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard - and has been equally impressed with the recruitment as a whole.
Reds' 12th signing imminent
Nottingham Forest reportedly flew Orel Mangala out to Athens for a medical on Tuesday ahead of completing a transfer to the club.
Reports that an agreement had been reached between the Reds and Stuttgart emerged on Monday afternoon, and the midfielder now looks to have taken the next step towards making a move by heading out to the Greek capital. A fee of around £12.75 million has apparently been agreed.
The 24-year-old is being recruited by Forest's head of data and analytic recruitment George Syrianos for the second time after he played a part in taking Mangala to Germany in the first place, from Anderlecht back in 2017 while Stuttgart's head of analytics.
