Eurovision is in full swing - but who is host Hannah Waddingham?
The actress is probably most famous for playing Rebecca Welton in the comedy series Ted Lasso, but Hannah also has a musical theatre background. She has performed on both the West End and Broadway in shows such as Space Family Robinson and Spamalot.
For her role in Ted Lasso, Hannah won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2021 and the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2021 and 2022.

Hannah was born and raised in south-west London, Hannah attended private girls' school Streatham and Clapham High School before going on to study at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. Following her graduation, she focused on making it as a theatre actress.
The actress also released a song Our Kind of Love, which was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber for his musical The Beautiful Game. In more recent times, the 48-year-old roles in ITV’s Benidorm, HBO’s Game of Thrones and Netflix’s Sex Education. However, it was her role as football club owner Rebecca Welton in Apple TV+'s Ted Lasso that propelled her into the world’s spotlight.
She has also appeared in films such as Hocus Pocus 2 and will soon make appearances in Garfield, The Fall Guy and Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning: Part Two.
Hannah Waddingham's relationships
The actress was in a long-term relationship with hotel manager, Gianluca Cugnetto. They were together for more than a decade, but are no longer together.
Hannah and Gianluca share a daughter, Kitty, who was born in 2016. Kitty has Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) - a condition that causes blood vessels to swell, and raise areas of bleeding underneath the skin as well as joint and abdominal pain.

Hannah is 5ft 11ins tall. Celeb Heights once quoted the actress as saying: "I'm 5ft 11in anyway and then they gave me 4inch-heeled shoes so I felt absolutely enormous."

The 48-year-old hosts the Eurovision Song Contest’s first semi-final at 8pm on BBC One on Tuesday, May 9.
Speaking ahead of Eurovision, Hannah said: "There’s something really special about Eurovision which is why I’ve been an avid fan for years - from the camaraderie of all the acts backstage to the epic scale of the show."
