Eurovision got off to a difficult start this week as the singing competition's welcome party was slammed for its “horrendous“ crowd control by concert-goers.
The National Lottery’s Big Eurovision Welcome was held at St George’s Plateau on Sunday and saw performances from Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Atomic Kitten, The Vivienne and more.
However, concerns over crowd control and scenes of panicked fans being pulled from a crowd crush appears to have overshadowed the event.
