A UK ticket-holder has scooped the record EuroMillions jackpot of £195 million. One ticket matched all seven numbers to win £195,707,000.00 – making them the biggest jackpot winner of all time.
Camelot's Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser, said that “players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight's record-breaking lucky winner."
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “The EuroMillions jackpot has now officially hit record-breaking levels after reaching the highest amount ever seen in the game last Friday. While Tuesday’s jackpot is guaranteed to be capped at the hugely life-altering amount of €230 million, players will also have the chance to win even bigger than usual at a lower prize tier.”
The EuroMillions draw is held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, and is played in 13 European countries.
