EuroMillions winner Jane Park discusses 'curse of lottery' on Dr Phil talk show

Scots Lotto winner Jane Park has revealed the reason behind her recent trip to the US.

The 27-year-old has been dropping major hints of a 'secret project' as she's spent some time across the pond, and now the secret is out that she has filmed an episode of Dr Phil, speaking about the 'curse of the lottery'.

Dr Phil McGraw is a former psychologist turned TV host who is best known for his legendary stint dishing out advice on Oprah Winfrey's talk show in the 90s, but now has his own programme where he chats to guests about their lives.

Jane told fans on Instagram she's already filmed the episode, but there's no word yet when it will air.

Jane wrote: "I’ve been in America four weeks and so much exciting stuff has happened! One thing I can share is that I have recorded an episode of @DrPhil. I really want to thank the whole team at @paramountpics who gave me the opportunity and support to share my story.

"I also want to give a special thank you to Kalley and Amy. The way you guys produce the show and support your guests is outstanding. I couldn't have opened up as much about my experience without you.

"Finally, I have to say.. Dr Phil and his wife Robin are my relationship goals! She has sat in the audience of over 3,500 episodes (Never missed one!) Showing him support!"

Jane was the UK's youngest ever lottery winner when she scooped the jackpot at the age of just 17 and she'll have plenty to open up about in regards to the subject being discussed on Dr Phil.

Fans flocked to the comments to show their delight at her news.

One wrote: "Living your best life! Proud of you my gal."

Another said: "Finally…. Proud of you and everything you do in life… but hurry up missed you."

While one commented: "You are smashing it my gal!! So so proud of you, this is your year."

Previously, Jane said she was in America for a dating TV show, however it fell through. Jane later expressed her anger that the show supposedly wanted to give camera crews access to film her having sex while being recorded. A source said that Jane was furious about the contract clause.

A source of Jane told The Scottish Sun: "Jane's not ultimately against the idea of having sex on TV, however she doesn’t think any contract should specify that a camera crew has access legally."

She branded the showrunners "perverted" for the contract clause but she still hoped to break through in Los Angeles.

The source added: "The scenes the show wanted to film wouldn’t have been graphic, it would have been similar to Big Brother’s night footage."
