An Irish Euromillions player will be rejoicing tonight after they won the life-changing top prize in Tuesday night's Euromillions Plus draw.
Ticket holders have been urged to check their tickets carefully after one player walked away with a staggering €500,000.
Lotto bosses confirmed tonight that the lucky player purchased the coveted ticket in Co Galway.

There were also 41 winners of the Match 4 prize worth €2,000.
The winning numbers for the Euromillions Plus draw were as follows:
23, 32, 35, 42, 50
Meanwhile, there was no winner of the main Euromillions draw worth a whopping €17,000,000.
However, there were four winners of the 5 + 1 Star prize of €128,444, but sadly none were Irish.
The winning numbers for the Euromillions draw were as follows:
04, 20, 21, 34, 44 and lucky stars 01, 03.
The news comes after one Irish household scooped a hefty sum in Saturday night's Lotto draw.
The winner won the Match 5 + Bonus prize worth a pretty €57,711.
There were also 38 winners of the Match 5 prize worth €911.
The winning numbers for the Lotto draw were as follows:
11, 16, 17, 26, 27, 29 and the bonus 19
Unfortunately, there was no winner of the €7,652,968 jackpot , which will be up for grabs again on Wednesday night.
The Lotto Plus 1 draw also saw the top prize of € 1 million go unclaimed.
There was no winner of the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €5,000.
However, 17 players won the Match 5 prize of €500.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 1 draw were as follows:
03, 05, 07, 12, 37, 38 and the bonus 42
The Lotto Plus 2 draw was not won as players will have to wait until tomorrow to be in with another chance to win the top prize of €250,000.
While the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €2,500 was won by two.
There were 28 winners of the Match 5 prize of €250.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 2 draw were as follows:
10, 11, 13, 16, 20, 22 and the bonus 15
