The Baltimore Ravens have seen fourth-year defensive lineman Justin Madubuike break out in a major way during the 2023 season. He has accumulated 10 sacks in 12 games, becoming the first Ravens double-digit sack player since Terrell Suggs back in 2017.
Madubuike has earned himself a major pay-day, as he’s set to become a free agent after the season concludes. On his podcast, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Baltimore tried to sign Madubuike to an extension in the summer, but the defensive lineman bet on himself and has certainly won as he continues to dominate on a consistent basis.

“Baltimore put on a press to sign him this summer, he rolled the dice, he bet on himself…if they can’t get him re-signed they’ll probably have to use their franchise tag on him” pic.twitter.com/ErryKe2HDQ
