Dick and Angel Strawbridge have shared an exciting update with fans on when they will return to our screens.
The couple confirmed back in September that the ninth series of Escape to the Chateau would be their last. In a statement at the time, they said: "It’s our finale of the classic Escape to the Chateau, it’s been an adventure of a lifetime and we could never have imagined what would unfold.
"The good, the bad and the ugly…we have cherished every second and love that we have a visual record to show Arthur and Dorothy when they’re older.

"We are so grateful for all the love and support…and we promise to continue our adventures with you, just in a different way, as we venture outside the gates of the Chateau and explore the wonderful country we live in.
"Escape to the Chateau: Secret France (WT)...next year…we honestly cannot wait...Thank you Channel 4."
The final episode of Escape to the Chateau aired on Sunday, December 18 with a Christmas extravaganza as the Strawbridge family threw a festive party of a lifetime to mark the end of an era.
But it won't be long until the Strawbridge's are back on our screens with a new spin off series called Escape to the Chateau: Secret France. Sharing the news with fans in a new update on their Facebook page, Dick and Angel said: "Hello to you all! We are busy filming our new series for Channel 4.
"Escape to the Chateau: Secret France” will be on your screens later this year – we can’t wait to share our discoveries with you! Dick & Angel xXx."
Fans could barely contain their excitement as they took to the comments section. One said: "Sooooo looking forward to seeing you again. Sending lots of love you all."
Another said: "Can't wait, so enjoyed your positive life affirming adventures."
A third added: "I cannot wait for your new show. I've watched all your others and was totally enthralled and entertained, good luck with all your future adventures and endeavours."
