Erling Halaand release clause: Man City striker 'available for £86m' amid Real Madrid dream

Erling Haaland could be sold for just £86million (€100million) this summer as the Manchester City striker dreams of a move to Real Madrid.

Spanish publication AS claim the striker has a two-tiered release clause in his contract which will become active this summer.

Forbes add that while overseas clubs could snap up the Norweign for a relative steal of £86m, Premier League rivals much cough up twice that price, around £170m (€200m), to land the record-breaking frontman.

Haaland's dream, the report adds, is a move to Real Madrid. So strong is the striker's apparent desire to move to Santiago Bernabeu, it is claimed "if were up to him, he would sign for [Real] Madrid tomorrow.

The LaLiga giants remain desperate to lure Kylian Mbappe to the club at the third time of asking with the Frenchman's Paris Saint-Germain contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Twice before Mbappe looked set to leave France for Spain only to both times end up recommitting to PSG to remain in Ligue 1.

Madrid could reunite Haaland and Bellingham, team-mates at Borussia Dortmund.
