Erling Haaland 'urges' Jude Bellingham to join Manchester City and more transfer rumours

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has reportedly urged former Borussia Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham to join him at the Etihad Stadium.

The Norwegian frontman played alongside the England international for two seasons in the Bundesliga, and the pair have remained close friends off the pitch and have remained in touch since Haaland's summer transfer switch.

As reported by CBS Sports, relayed by The Mirror, Haaland has already told Bellingham to link up with him at City, with several other Premier League clubs - including Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea - also interested in the 19-year-old midfielder.

It has been claimed that the Dortmund man could be available in an £83million agreement next summer, despite him being under contract at the German club until 2025. However, LaLiga giants Real Madrid appear to be leading the race for his signature.

Elsewhere, Mundo Deportivo are reporting that City could allow Bernardo Silva to leave in 2023 if they receive a club-record fee for the midfielder, with Barcelona still interested in signing the Portuguese international.

The 28-year-old was linked with a summer move to the Catalan giants, but a deal failed to materialise as City were keen to keep him at the club. However, the report adds that the Premier League champions could be open to selling Bernardo next year if they receive an offer around €100m (£89m).

It also states that Barcelona are not ruling out a move for the former Monaco man in January, should they manage to offload players in the next transfer window.

Bernardo has made 10 appearances for Pep Guardiola's side in all competitions so far this term, registering two goals and three assists.
