Erling Haaland has warned his rivals he is determined to get even better after becoming the fastest player to score 20 Premier League goals.
Haaland has reached the milestone in just 20 games and he is well on course to beat Alan Shearer and Andy Cole’s joint record of 34 goals in a Premier League season. The Manchester City striker insists he can improve further and he has been hampered by a foot injury for the last two months.
Haaland’s foot felt fine after he lasted the full 90 minutes against Leeds on Wednesday when he scored twice, and he says he is developing all the time under Pep Guardiola. He refuses to be satisfied with his haul of 26 goals in all competitions from just 19 City games and is hungry to get better.
