Erling Haaland has revealed he talked 'a lot' about England with former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Jude Bellingham before making the switch to Manchester City.
Bellingham has been heavily with a move to Liverpool with the ECHO understanding that the powers that be at Anfield are huge admirers of the England international. But with Dortmund said to have slapped a £103m price tag on their prize asset, the Reds don't believe there is a negotiation to be had with the Bundesliga outfit this summer.
Jurgen Klopp is also happy with his midfield options going into the new season. But there appears every chance that the Liverpool boss will be interested if Bellingham comes on the market next summer.

The Reds' chance of signing the 19-year-old have not been helped by the fact that Dortmund have lost their other star name, Haaland, to the Premier League champions.
And speaking at his unveiling as a Man City player, Haaland was quizzed about his relationship with Bellingham: "Yes (he was my best mate), he was a good guy.
"We talked a lot about it (staying) and in the end, we talked about England as a country and everything and hopefully, he's happy for me."
A reporter then asked Haaland if he thinks Bellingham will be back playing his football in England next summer: "Good question," the Norway international replied with a laugh. "We will have to see."
