Erling Haaland made his Manchester City debut against Bayern Munich on Sunday. Despite the strength of the opposition, it took just 12 minutes for him to get off the mark in his new sky blue jersey. The Norwegian scored the only goal of the match in a 1-0 win for the Etihad club and Jack Grealish was the man to assist him, with the pair already developing a relationship on the field.
"He’s good," said Haaland of his new teammate. "He has to improve, I have to improve, but it’s a good connection and I like the vibes around him. It’s going to be fun."
Pep Guardiola has a wealth of offensive players at his disposal in Manchester but based on what Grealish offers, he could be the man who truly unlocks Haaland.
