Erin Blanchfield now will have the spotlight on her when she fights Manon Fiorot in her home state.
After the original headliner between Vicente Luque and Sean Brady was scrapped, a flyweight matchup between Blanchfield (12-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) and Fiorot (11-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) has now been elevated to headline UFC Fight Night (ESPN) on March 30 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J.
Promotion officials announced the news Thursday morning.

In a recent interview with MMA Junkie, New Jersey native Blanchfield was hoping her fight with Fiorot would be a main event. The rising contender has torn through competition in the UFC, most recently scoring back-to-back wins over former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade and former title challenger Taila Santos.
Also unbeaten in the octagon, France’s Fiorot spoiled former two-time 115-pound champ Rose Namajunas’ flyweight debut this past September in Paris. Prior to that, she defeated former title challengers Katlyn Chookagian and Jennifer Maia.
The winner of this fight could determine the next title challenger at 125 pounds.
The current UFC Atlantic City lineup includes:
- Erin Blanchfield vs. Manon Fiorot
