Erik ten Hag has delivered a Christmas message to supporters, revealing that his perfect football-related gift would be a ticket to a Manchester United game.
Ten Hag and his players returned to domestic action on Wednesday night following the World Cup with a win over Championship opponents Burnley in the League Cup fourth round. Goals from Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford settled the scores at Old Trafford.

United resume their Premier League season against Nottingham Forest at the same venue on Tuesday night (8pm), with Wolves and Bournemouth to follow on December 31 and January 3 respectively. It marks a busy time for teams and managers, but Ten Hag has taken time away from planning to send a message to the fans.
Cole hits back at Nunez comparison
Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole has hit back at comparisons between himself and Liverpool frontman Darwin Nunez, after the latter put in a poor display during their Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City on Thursday night.
Nunez squandered a couple of golden chances for the Reds - including one effort that was dragged wide when it appeared easier to score - as Jurgen Klopp's side crashed out of the competition. After the game, some supporters compared the Uruguayan to Cole - but the ex-United striker was in no mood to accept those perceived similarities.
He responded to them in brutal fashion on social media platform Twitter.
