Erik ten Hag secured his first trophy as Manchester United boss last weekend as he masterminded a Carabao Cup success against Newcastle, and another one could be on the way.
The Red Devils earned a 2-0 victory over Eddie Howe’s men at Wembley, triggering wild celebrations both in the stands and among the Man United squad, and that was then followed up by a fine come-from-behind victory against West Ham in the FA Cup on Wednesday thanks to three goals in the final 13 minutes, an own goal from Nayef Aguerd and strikes from Alejandro Garnacho and Fred.
The Red Devils are also still in the Europa League and firmly embroiled in a race for the Premier League crown. After already bagging the Carabao Cup, they could potentially become just the sixth club in English football history to secure both domestic cups in the same campaign.
