Manchester United are on the cusp of securing a mega-money deal for Brazilian international and Ajax star Antony - but have no plans to make the winger their last addition of the summer.
Instead, manager Erik ten Hag could bring in as many as four new faces before the summer transfer window closes on Thursday, September 1. The deal to bring Antony to Old Trafford has taken long enough, with multiple bids rejected before finally reaching an agreement worth a reported £84.4million.
There remains work to be done to address other positions in the squad and United's football director John Murtough, alongside Ten Hag, is putting in the hard graft to ensure there are a few surprises for the Red Devils faithful before the end of the window.
