Erik ten Hag has already made his feelings clear on Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of his potential appointment at Manchester United.
The Manchester Evening News understands the Dutchman has emerged as United’s preferred candidate to become the club’s next permanent manager and that Ajax expect him to make a move. The club have not yet made a final decision on their next manager, but still intend to make an appointment before the end of the season.
Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino remains under consideration. It’s Ten Hag though that now looks to be leading the way in the club’s search.
