JAIPUR: As the state government pushes for English medium schools, an enrolment campaign was launched from a government school in C-Scheme on Tuesday.
The director of secondary education had issued an order last week with the admission timeline process for Mahatma Gandhi Government Schools (English Medium). The admission process for these schools will continue till July 7 and lottery for those who got admission will be conducted on July 8.
The list of selected students will be pasted on the school premises on July 9 and the session will start from July 11. In the Civil Lines assembly constituency, an enrolment campaign was started on Tuesday by Uttam Sharma, the local councillor.
Over 500 children from nearby areas were enrolled in schools. Admissions will be taken for students from classes 1-8 for all seats, mentioned the instructions issued by the secondary education department.
