England earned their first points of the Nations League campaign as they won 2-0 in Prague against the Czech Republic.
After a dour first half in which Pavel Sulc was shown a red card for fouling Elliot Anderson in the only real moment of note, England got to work following a dressing-room talk from Thomas Tuchel.
Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane netted in the second half as England won in the Czech capital for the first time since 1908.

James Trafford 6
Made a good save early on and another at 2-0 but had very little to do besides.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 6
A superb assist for the opening goal was the exception on a night when he failed to fully pass his audition. Alright, produced a good assist, but a performance that didn’t blow you away.
Trevoh Chalobah 5
Made his first competitive start for England and made a good first-half block. Too many of his passes were hit far too lightly.
Marc Guehi 5
Was unfairly penalised for a few fouls that shouldn’t have been awarded, but was still suspect on the ball.
Lewis Hall 6
Produced two or three really dangerous crosses but his decision-making was often questionable at other moments. One good tackle.
Elliot Anderson 6
Busy again in midfield but without making a huge impact on the game.
Myles Lewis-Skelly 6
Booked for a foul that could maybe have been more sternly punished. But a good display in midfield from the Arsenal man.
One good corner delivery but missed a big chance in the first half and didn’t have one of his better games in an England shirt.
Morgan Rogers 6
A decent performance in which he hit the post and nearly scored a late header but went missing for large periods.
Anthony Gordon 8
The best player on the pitch. Picked up where he left off against Spain with another lively display and again scored England’s first goal.
Harry Kane 7
Was quiet for long periods but forced a fine save before half time and was then alive to score his 87th goal for his country.

Was bright off the bench and had a decent effort which the goalkeeper tipped over. Lively.
Jude Bellingham (Kane, 71’) 5
Had very little impact off the bench except for a low driven shot which forced a good save.

Gave a good account of himself on his debut and came on and split the defence with a run where he shot just wide.
Rio Ngumoha (Saka, 71’) 6
Bright when he came on and tried to make things happen down the right. Tuchel clearly likes him.
