Emmerdale viewers were confused as Cain Dingle uncovered the extent of Leyla Cavanagh's addiction.
Friday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore Leyla's drug problem. The character, played by Roxy Shahidi, is married to village doctor Liam Cavanagh - and the couple have struggled since Liam's daughter, Leanna, was murdered by Meena Jutla last summer.
Leyla has since suffered a miscarriage - and the turbulent situation prompted her to turn to drugs. She was hospitalised in yesterday's programme after she took an overdose.

Liam was in denial about his wife's addiction problems after he found out she had been taken to A&E. However, her addiction struggle was exposed when Cain discovered a bag of drugs Leyla had stored for her dealer, Callum.
Leyla agreed to store the haul due to her company's worsening financial situation. She was rocked when the stash was stolen by Matty Barton earlier this week.
She has since regained the stash, but viewers following the show on Twitter were baffled Leyla had put the drugs in the very same cupboard they were taken from.
Chris said: "So Leyla just put the holdall in the same bloody cupboard"
Jamie added: "Kane and Liam searching for hours then finding a big bag in only cupboard in the room"
Pete posted: "Leyla put the bag back in the same place it seems"
Kelly commented : "She put the bag in the same cupboard"
Ryan tweeted: "Why would Leyla put Callum's stash of drugs in the same place where they got stolen? That was a little bit silly of Leyla."
