Emmerdale viewers have begged show bosses to not ‘screw up’ Mandy and Paddy’s relationship as the pair decided to give their romantic connection another go and get back together.
The couple were together in the past and a lot has happened between the pair but regardless they have always been there for each other. Viewers know that Paddy has been recovering after trying to end his life and Mandy has been one of the people to help him through.
During Thursday night's episode of the ITV hit soap, Paddy confides in Marlon as he opened up about why he’s failing to be intimate with Mandy. Paddy explained his fears and said that the last time he had sex with Mandy, it was right before he disappeared from the village.

Marlon reassured his mate and said that he’s in a better place now. The chat really helped Paddy so he later decided to share a bottle of wine with Mandy.
After spending some much needed time together, he told Mandy that he wanted to live ‘free’, with ‘no expectations’, just a ‘hope and an intention to do our best’. Mandy wanted to know whether Paddy felt positive and was in a better place now. He teared up and revealed that he was finally happy again.
