Emmerdale star Samantha Giles has been rushed to hospital with a mystery illness and fans have shared their support.
The actress, who plays Bernice Blackstock on the ITV hit soap, took to Twitter to share the devastating news and thanked the NHS stuff for looking after her.
Samantha wrote: "Huge thank you to all the wonderfully caring staff at @LiverpoolWomens for looking after me today. #NHS I’m fine and I’ll be home soon."

However she did not reveal her illness, but fans wasted no time and rushed to the comments section to share their support.

Samantha has been in Emmerdale on and off since 1998 and was a regular cast member until 2002 which was the first time she left the soap.
She later returned for a stint in 2004 and more permanently in 2012 however left the soap again in 2019 with a desire to focus on other things.
She returned to Emmerdale last year, shortly before celebrating her 50th birthday and has had a long acting career in the UK's biggest soaps since the 90s.
She previously played the role of Sally Boothe in the ITV drama series Where the Heart Is, Valerie Holden in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks and also had a minor role as Kirsty in Coronation Street between 1994 and 1995.
