Emmerdale star Michael Wildman's character Al Chapman has been causing a stir in the soap after his affair with Chas Dingle was exposed before he was shot down on the show this week.
However, away from the screen, the actors' love life is far less dramatic.
Michael has been happily married to Welsh singer and actress Ceri Ann Gregory for several years.

Ceri is best known for appearing in the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood and BBC comedy Little Britain as well as singing in the rock and classic music band Elysium with Amelia Whiteman and Annalise Wittlesea.
His famous wife also appeared in productions, including The Villain's Opera at The Royal National Theatre in London.
The couple has been married since 2018, and together they have a seven-year-old son.
However, Michael revealed during an interview with Loose Women that his young son struggled at first when he used to go away to film Emmerdale.
He said: "My son had a little bit of anxiety issues when I first started the job.
"When they come into consciousness, around four or five, [before] I could leave and do two weeks away…shoot stuff and come back and 'daddy's back!' Now he's asking, 'how many sleeps?' and it's hard.
"The first month on the job, he was crying when I left, and I hadn't experienced that before."
He also added that famous wife Ceri also struggles with leaving her family to go and work, adding: "My wife is also in the game.
"She's a singer and an actress. When she has to go away, she experienced the same thing, so I get used to that on this particular job."
Together, the family live at their lavish property in South Oxfordshire, with Ceri taking to Instagram to share snaps of their stunning home.
Their home features beautiful duck egg blue walls alongside a red brick fireplace in the living room.
In another snap, Ceri also showcased their gorgeous kitchen, which is finished with marble worktops and floral decorations, whereas their bedroom has beige coloured walls and features such as a pair of angel wings decorating the room.
Away from home, the couple are regularly seen out and about together, with Ceri sharing snaps of their countryside walks on social media.
One sweet snap showed Michael and Ceri cuddled up together, with Ceri captioning the post: "Well the weekend started well. We had a six mile walk in the sun. We had a Scottish win and a game night.
