Emmerdale star Kevin Mathurin left Lorraine Kelly in shock when he revealed his link to music icon Diana Ross.
Kevin Mathurin, who plays Emmerdale vicar Charles Anderson, appeared alongside Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show to discuss his career. “When I left college in 1991, my journey started more on the dance career, so I kept going down that route,” Kevin explained.
“And what an amazing time you had,” Lorraine quipped. “Madison Square Garden with Diana Ross, I believe.”

“Yeah,” Kevin replied before laughing. “Wow that’s something that must have been a total highlight,” Lorraine said, with Kevin replying: “Definitely.”
“We had a moment where she likes to swap the running order of the show, so we would come on thinking we were doing a dance routine, and one time she decided ‘Ok I got a friend here in the audience.'
"And this friend starts walking up on stage and all of a sudden it’s Luther Vandross.”
“Wow,” Lorraine gasped. Kevin went on: “And they sing a duet of endless love and I’m sitting there like ‘I can’t believe this is happening’.”
Kevin, who is also a former model, first appeared in Emmerdale back in December 2020. Elsewhere in his acting career, he appeared in Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Doctors.
