Emmerdale viewers have watched as Leyla Harding's drug addiction has spiralled out of control in recent weeks, and now it could all be coming to a head.
New ITV spoilers reveal that her husband Liam Cavanagh could be close to discovering the truth about Leyla's coke habit, but it's unsure where that will leave their marriage.
It all begins when Liam (Jonny McPherson) questions Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) about her drinking and she decides to use Priya Sharma as cover.
However, when Priya (Fiona Wade) reveals to Liam that they weren’t celebrating together the night before, he’s left feeling concerned for his wife.
The following day when Liam quizzes her again, Leyla uses grief for Leanna as an excuse, but she’s left unaware that this has only fuelled Liam’s concern even more.
Leyla panics when Liam suggests he knows why she lied about being with Priya the night before, and soon decides to tell her his thoughts.
Later that say when Leyla returns home to a sleeping Liam, she decides to place her bags of cocaine on the table, seemingly preparing herself to confess the truth to him.
But will she really come clean about her addiction? And what will it mean for their marriage?
Last week, viewers saw Liam completely unaware of what was going on with Leyla as he spoke about being ready to have a baby with her.
Liam seems to have gone into full doctor mode and was fussing over Leyla and insisting she looks after herself, but it left her feeling frustrated.
She knows deep down that having a baby could be the one thing that gets her back on the straight and narrow, and perhaps this is why she is ready to confess all to Liam and get the help that she needs.
