Emmerdale's Liam Cavanagh is to cheat on Leyla Cavanagh next week, as he continues to struggle with her drug addiction.
Liam and Leyla are still struggling with things after her addiction to cocaine came to light, and she was rushed to hospital after collapsing having taken the drug. Whilst she's on the mend, her relationship with Liam is still on tenterhooks.
The couple have been trying to repair their romance after a whirlwind few months, which saw Leyla nearly die at the hands of evil serial killer Meena Jutla. Despite Meena being long gone, Leyla and Liam had to attend her court hearing, which caused some friction between the couple when Leyla's outburst saw the public gallery - and thus Liam - be dismissed from the court as he waited to hear what Meena had to say about murdering his daughter, Leanna Cavanagh.
However, next week, Leyla is still struggling with things and emotionally unloads on Priya. Concerned for her friend, Priya focuses on trying to support her friend as she desperately wants to mend her relationship with her husband.
Liam, meanwhile, is offloading to his ex Bernice Blackstock, as he finds it hard to move forward from what happened. As he starts to think about their past romance, he leans in and kisses her, leaving her very shocked.
She's adamant he should tell Leyla what happened between the two of him, but he isn't as keen.
Leyla and Liam hug - but he decides not to tell her about the kiss, and instead wants to rekindle their relationship and get things back on track. The admission leaves Leyla in tears as she gets emotional about finally seeing everything come together after what happened between the pair of them. She is happy to see he wants to give it another go too.
Watching from afar, and seeing Leyla in tears, Bernice is sure Liam has confessed to the kiss.
Later, when she's with Leyla, an oblivious Bernice mentions the kiss and Leyla is left reeling when she realises the pair locked lips. But what will this mean for their relationship going forward - and can they save their romance for good?
