It's not all good news though, as Charity Dingle learns something that sends her spiralling following a devastating phone call.

The character rushes off, and soon Cain Dingle tracks her down and finds out what's been going on. Here's all the biggest moments set to air next week on the show.

Charity is set for a shock that sends her spiralling (ITV)

Charity's shocking news

Charity is set for a shock that sends her spiralling. The character hits the bottle after learning some bombshell news in a devastating yet mystery phone call.

Spoilers have not revealed who is on the other end of the phone or what the call is about, but the call leaves Charity shell-shocked.

Whatever she finds out leaves her struggling to cope, while she doesn't initially confide in anyone about what she has found out.

After the call, Charity drinks heavily and acts out leaving her loved ones concerned - especially partner Mackenzie Boyd who fears the worst.

He worries she has found out that he slept with Chloe Harris resulting in her falling pregnant with his baby - while it's not yet known if the call is linked to this.

As Charity tries to clear her head, she spots Caleb's car keys and takes them before deciding to drive off. Cain spots her though and gets in the car, eager to know what is eating away at Charity and what she's hiding.

Soon enough Cain finds out what has happened and what Charity has learned, but what is it and how will Cain react?

Noah's discovery

Noah Dingle is in for a big shock next week (ITV)

Noah Dingle is in for a big shock next week, as his aunt Zoe Tate makes contact according to spoilers for the ITV soap. The teenager gets some news from his relative he had no idea about, and it's linked to his late father Christ Tate.

Chris was a hit villain on the soap years ago, on screen between 1989 to 2003. He took his own life before framing wife Charity for his murder, after uncovering her affair. Charity was in prison for a while for the crime, so Noah was cared for by Zoe until Zoe helped have Charity released.

Zoe left the village in 2005, while she has been mentioned numerous times over the years. Sadly actress Leah Bracknell who played Zoe for her entire stint on the soap died in 2019, after battling stage four lung cancer.

Next week, spoilers reveal Zoe is mentioned again and possibly makes contact with her nephew. Details have not been revealed about the storyline in terms of why Zoe reaches out and what Zoe is up to on the soap.

What is known is that Noah makes a shocking discovery next week that could change everything. Noah is told that his aunt Zoe has set up a trust fund for him in his dad Chris’ name.

Romance for Arthur

Arthur shares a moment with fellow teen Marshall next week (ITV)

Arthur shares a moment with fellow teen Marshall next week, who stands up for him to a bully.

Arthur realises Marshall does care, especially after he goes to check on him after his LGBTQ History assembly is cancelled, following a complaint.

Frustrated Arthur feels like no one is being straight with him, and warns Marshall that if he’s not being honest then he needs to leave

But Marshall drops his cool act and there's almost a kiss between them, only for Marshall’s dad to call and the moment is broken.

Marshall panics and rushes off, but is there romance on the horizon for the teens?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
