Emmerdale legend Tony Audenshaw has addressed rumours surrounding him embarking on an affair.
As Emmerdale fans know, unlikely business partners Bob Hope, played by Tony Audenshaw, and Bernice Blackstock have taken on the village B&B. There’s been a lot of bickering which some viewers claim could be sexual tension.
Emmerdale fans know Bob and Bernice both have a chequered past so potentially anything could happen. We imagine Bob’s partner Brenda would be less than impressed.

Acting star Tony has discussed what the future might hold for Bob and Bernice. Talking to Digital Spy about whether the characters could embark on a steamy affair, Tony said: “You never know, do you? You never know what's going to happen with these relationships, if there is a spark.
“There's certainly some sort of chemistry between them, but Bob has said that those days are very much behind him. He's very happy with Wendy.”

Tony added: “I suppose in any relationship, when somebody's spending a lot of time with someone else, they might have suspicions that something is going on.”
