Emmerdale actress Michelle Hardwick has revealed the gender of her and wife Kate Brooks' second child.
The couple, who met on set of the ITV soap where Kate is a producer, have been married since 2019 and welcomed their first child, son Teddy, the following year. Michelle and Kate took to social media last month to announce Michelle was pregnant with their second child.
The 46-year-old, who plays Vanessa Woodfield, wrote at the time: "We are super excited about our gorgeous news! I’m 20 weeks today and can almost rest a cup of tea on my bump."

During an interview on Loose Women today, Michelle and Kate, 39, revealed that they were expecting a baby girl. "There is a big reveal happening," Michelle, who is from Wakefield, told excited panelists.
"Baby number two is a little girl!"
She added: "We didn't know with Teddy, we thought the whole way through that Teddy was a little girl. We never had the scan or anything. And then I had imagined us with two boys but it's a little girl!"
The couple have previously opened up about their IVF story and said they would love to meet the man who is the donor for both of their children. They told the panel that it will be possible for their kids to meet him once they are older.
"We've never actually met him," they said. "As far as we are aware, when Teddy is 18 he can then be in touch and it will be absolutely up to the children."
Kate added: "As soon as Teddy gets of an age where he can understand where we can talk to him and kind of guide him through it and whatever he wants to do, we fully, fully support him."
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
