Emmerdale's Leyla Cavanagh's fate has been revealed after she was rushed to hospital following a drug overdose.
The village resident was taken to A&E after taking too much cocaine, with her husband Dr Liam Cavanagh returning home to find her collapsed on the floor and a bag of white powder on the table.
It was confirmed by doctors that she had had a heart attack, and warned she could have lasting damage. However, there was some good news, as health professionals insisted there was "encouraging" signs.
