Emmerdale's Claire King has revealed all on that explosive cliffhanger, during the first episode of the big stunt week - as the ITV soap celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Kim was left seriously injured it seems, and feared dead, after an explosion in the woods with Harriet Finch - amid bosses confirming more than one character will die this week.
The character had found a gravely injured Harriet trapped under her quad bike after a nasty crash in the woods, with the vehicle landing on top of her.
As Kim managed to drag her out, Harriet feared she was dying and begged her love rival not to leave her, and to stay with her.
But Kim was desperate to save her and turned towards her horse in the hope of riding back out of the woods, to flag down help.
Her horse was startled by the lightning though and soon raced off, leaving Kim panicked.
This was the least of her worries though, as suddenly a bolt of lightning struck the crashed quad bike, which was oozing oil.
Suddenly the whole thing exploded, causing a fireball to erupt in the woods, sending Kim and Harriet flying.
As Kim soared in the air, she whacked her head against a rock and was knocked unconscious, if not killed instantly - while Harriet equally remained lifeless.
Ahead of both of their fates being confirmed, actress Claire King revealed all on filming the big scenes and the storm in general.
She confessed to The Mirror and other press that the stunt week "almost finished her off", as she detailed the big challenge.
Claire said: "Never mind the end for Kim. It nearly finished me off all of that, being thrown around in the woods in all that dirt and things. I’m too old for that. It was quite a test actually.
"It was a very hot day if you remember but it's supposed to be October, so I have all these layers on and clothes, so it was rather sweaty.
"It was also very dirty and dry in the woods, so after filming I was on antibiotics for about a week cos my nose and eye all swelled up.
"I blew my nose about a week after I finished my course and a great big seed pod flew out, and it had become infected so it must have blown up with all them wind machines, it was somewhat traumatic."
"We did manage to have bit of a laugh, Katherine and I," she added.
Teasing whether Kim and Harriet will survive the blast, she went on of the possible aftermath: " If Kim doesn't die... Will is not gonna be too happy because they had this little thing going on.
"Kim does suspect that there's something going on between Harriet and Will so I think Will could possibly blame Kim for whatever happens to Harriet, but I'd also like to say I've had a lovely time in Spain so it might be Kim who's [in trouble]."
