Emmerdale fans have been left puzzled by the arrival of Caleb Milligan - but we will finally found out his secret next week.
Caleb arrived as Cain Dingle's long lost brother, with the pair clearly having a fractious relationship from the get go due to what happened in their past. Since then, he has settled into village life, helping the Dingles pay for Kyle's lawyer and he is also working with Kim Tate at Home Farm, where they have teamed up on a horse breeding programme.
However, bosses of the ITV soap have confirmed Caleb isn't all he said he is - and he is hiding a big secret, with it all set to come to light next week in some huge scenes that fans will no doubt be on the edge of their seat for.
Ahead of the big reveal, which ITV have confirmed will happen next week, we take a look at all the clues that have pointed to Caleb's true identity and his real motive for staying in the village.
His plan for Home Farm
Caleb has made no secret that he is savvy in business - and after a series of successful ventures, he has now turned his attention to working alongside Kim Tate on a special horse breeding programme at Home Farm.
Kim is thrilled to be working alongside Caleb, but his secret definitely relates to his work with the farm. He was previously seen chatting to Cain about his future plans for the farm and what that might mean for Kim and her husband Will Taylor.
Back in February, after realising Cain was behind one of the horses 'escaping', the pair sat down for a pint at the Woolpack where Caleb told his brother: "See I pick my battles, and that way I always win."
When Cain asked what that meant for Kim and everyone at Home Farm, he said: "With me taking it all, and leaving them with nothing."
A mystery caller
Caleb has been quite secretive from the get go - but the true sneakiness of his behaviour came out back in early February when he was seen making a mysterious phone call to someone in the car.
The person on the other end of the line hasn't been revealed, but fans have speculated it could be Jamie Tate or even Joe Tate.
He had been helping the family with Kyle's legal team after the young boy killed Al and Cain was banned from seeing him whilst he was on bail and the police were deciding how best to tackle it.
Caleb snuck away from the group and answered a phone call from a mystery person, as he told them: "Looks like we're finally making headway. We keep reeling them in until we get exactly what we want."
Nicky's unusual reaction
Fans of the ITV soap have long suspected Caleb could be working alongside someone else in the village and nanny Nicky - played by Lewis Cope - is one of the top theories from eagle-eyed viewers of the show.
Some think Nicky and Caleb could be father or son whilst others think they're working together to secure the future of Home Farm for themselves and away from Kim, Will and Gabby - who Nicky will propose to next week.
A scene that aired last week on the soap has no doubt had fans even more intrigued if they're working together, as they spotted an obvious 'clue' that Nicky and Caleb had some history or connection with one another.
After Caleb caught Gabby and Nicky getting intimate in the kitchen, fans' interest was spiked when Nicky told Caleb: "You're big on trust are you?" as Caleb questioned if he had any information to the contrary. It was then that Nicky immediately backed down and said he didn't know anything, leaving fans suspicious.
Family drama
Caleb has had his fair share of family drama - after all, he fell out with his brother Cain after something that happened in their youth and the pair lost touch for years, but why is he back all of a sudden?
He had said he came to see Cain in prison because he wanted to know more about his mother's death. Faith died in October after being diagnosed with cancer once more, but Cain had told his brother she passed away years ago.
Whilst he said that was why he came back, he must now be well aware about what happened to his mum - and it seems there is no reason for him to stay. Therefore, there must be another reason why he's there.
What's his motive for being in the village - and what's he hiding? All will be revealed next week!
