Emmerdale 's Caleb Miligan's big secret has been a key storyline on the ITV soap for months, with fans believing they may have worked out the truth.
Theories have been shared on Twitter by fans in terms of what the character is hiding, following his arrival in December.
It was revealed Caleb was the secret son of Faith Dingle, making him the brother of Cain and Chas Dingle.
But soap boss Jane Hudson has confirmed he has a big secret, hinting that viewers have yet to work out the truth.
This hasn't stopped fans from predicting huge twists though, from a secret identity and a link to another new villager, to a possible revenge plan.
Amid speculation over what Caleb is up to, with it clear he's targeting Home Farm and possibly Kim Tate, viewers do know a fair bit about his past.
They might not know for sure just yet what he is hiding and why he is seemingly targeting other characters, but what they do know is he had a rough upbringing.
Faith hid her pregnancy from her family, and gave birth to Caleb while she was in prison with him then put into care.
Her partner Shadrach was not the baby's father so she told no one about her son, and Caleb recently revealed to Cain how he never had a family growing up, and he struggled in the care system.
His time as a child was described as "horrible" by actor Will Ash who plays him, with him longing to be reunited with his family and to be loved.
Fans know that when he was a young teen, possibly around 13 years old, he tracked down his long-lost brother Cain.
Cain lied to him that their mother Faith was dead and sent him on his way, only for Caleb to turn to crime.
Cain later claimed he did this to protect him, not wanting to bring his younger sibling into his world with an abusive father and a mother who wasn't really around.
Caleb stole a car and went joyriding in it only to be caught by Cain, and when the police caught up with them it led to a life-changing decision.
Cain took the blame for his brother after learning he'd already had trouble with the law and could face charges, but in exchange Caleb had to stay away for good.
The decision led to Cain being sent to prison for a long time thanks to him being stitched up by his boss at the garage, and Caleb didn't make contact again until decades later.
Caleb and Cain are now on track, but the mystery surrounding Caleb's big secret and if he's out to get the Dingles, or the Tates, is yet to be solved.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
