Emmerdale's Amy Nuttall flooded with support after split from famous husband Andrew Buchan over 'affair'

Former Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall has been flooded with support from her friends as she reportedly discovered her husband Andrew Buchan's affair with his BBC Better co-star Leila Farzad.

The actress got married to her famous husband in 2012 and the couple have two children, a son and daughter, together but it is understood that Andrew has moved in with co-star Leila Farzard after meeting on the set of BBC drama Better.

Amy has since been spending time with her children and her “favourite” girl pals as she enjoyed a holiday over half-term and Valentines Day.

The star was also seen sipping cocktails and shared the moment online, along with the snap she said a “pornstar martini makes life a bit better”.

She also seemed to be making a barbed dig at her ex, The Mirror reports. She posted: “‘I am not impressed by money, social status or job title. I’m impressed by the way someone treats other human beings.”

The news comes as Amy allegedly discovered her husband, Andrew’s affair with his BBC Better co-star Leila Farzad after finding out he had bought underwear that wasn't her size.

A source said to the Sun newspaper: “The penny started to drop over a period of time. He was away a lot, which wasn’t unusual because of the nature of his work, but at one point Amy realised he had been staying in hotels very near to home — and wondered why."

The source continued: “As time moved on, there were some tell-tale signs that he had become close to Leila — just something in his mannerisms and in their social media posts together. But the final straw was the lingerie — that’s what clinched it. Amy just knew instinctively that it wasn’t meant for her.”
