Emmerdale legend James Hooton will be pulling pints behind a bar as part of a special day of celebrations.
He will be running a bar at Roberts Park, in Saltaire, on Saturday, April 22. He will be supporting festivities running at the venue as part of World Heritage Day 2023.
The team organising the festivities in Saltaire announced the plans, and news of an appearance by the Sam Dingle actor, on social media. They said: “We are now just one week away from #WorldHeritageDay. Preparations continue.

“Today Ian Andrews-Swailes and trustees met James Hooton, best known as Sam Dingle in ITV’s Emmerdale. James will be part of next week’s celebrations with his own bar.”
The celebrations will be running between 10am and 10pm with a full programme of events planned. There will be live music, food and drink stalls, fairground rides and much more.
